Spring '12 Conference - Mar. 23–25

On March 23-25, 2012, gather with hundreds of young adults and students from dozens of universities across the Northeast to passionately pursue God! We're excited to have Kim Walker-Smith with us Friday and Saturday, as well as some of the best speakers in the nation. The BASIC Conference takes place in Rochester, NY at the Hyatt Regency.

• Please be advised that the conference is expected to sell out, so registrations at the door will be limited by availability. Lodging at the Hyatt Regency is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis followed by the Radisson, a connected hotel. There may be a parking fee at the Radisson.

Kim Walker-Smith is a singer, songwriter, worship leader, and recording artist. She produced her first solo album, titled Here Is My Song, which was released in February 2008 through the Jesus Culture record label. Kim is best known as the worship leader for Jesus Culture and as a worship pastor for Bethel Church in Redding. One of the greatest desires of her heart is to see people set free, healed, and radically changed as they encounter God in worship.

Robert Madu

At a young age, Robert's unique gifting and powerful anointing has catapulted him to the forefront of evangelistic ministry today. Robert travels both nationally and internationally ministering through dynamic preaching and drama. His ability to minister to people of all cultures through his in-depth Bible preaching, sense of humor, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit has made him popular with young adults. In addition to his traveling ministry, he serves as the Student Ministries Director at Trinity Church, in Cedar Hill, TX.

Pierre Du Plessis

Pastor Pierre DuPlessis was born and raised in South Africa. He pastored a church there that quickly grew from 16 to 500 in attendance. He now serves as lead pastor of The Father’s House, a multi-site church reaching thousands with a passion to touch a community, a city, a country and the world.

Pastor Pierre is known for his clear, poignant illustrations. He has spoken at BASIC several times and is always a favorite!

Bob Weiner

For more than 30 years, Bob has been an unparalleled catalyst in evangelizing, training, discipling, and releasing young adults into the faith of Jesus Christ and the work of ministry throughout the United States and the globe. Bob’s calling is marked by the release of apostolic faith, evangelism, and vision for the Kingdom.

You will be fired up and re-energized to make a difference when "Uncle Bob" takes the stage!

Mike Cavanaugh

Pastor Mike Cavanaugh has founded several ministries including BASIC College Ministries and Mobilized to Serve (MTS), a national ministry to single adults. He is the author of the book The Power and Purpose of Singleness and he frequently speaks around the world. Pastor Mike is the founding pastor of Elim Gospel Church in Lima, NY and he now serves as the Vice-President of Elim Fellowship.
