Alex is an associate professor at the Whitman School of Management of Syracuse University. He has published in leading journals in the fields of accounting, marketing, economics, and operations management. He also ministers among the international students at Syracuse University. As a part of this ministry, he has international students live with his family.

Alex and Ranjana Thevaranjan have two boys, Ivan (14) and Irvin (13), and a more recent arrival Asha (10) who was adopted from their home country of Sri Lanka which is being torn apart by an ethnic war. The Thevaranjan family visits Sri Lanka often to encourage and equip the local pastors.

Mick served on staff with BASIC for two years at BASIC Central. After marrying his wife, Beth, they both served as College Missionaries & Regional Reps for six years with BASIC. He has a passion to raise up the next generation of leaders and see young people to fulfill their destiny in Christ.
